Volunteering and Donation Opportunities:

What do we need:

We are building the foundation on which VHF will operate. There are currently over forty animals including chickens, ducks, rabbits, turkeys, plus the promise of more livestock in the future. The President, founder, and a few volunteers have begun clearing the land, but his is a massive undertaking and must be completed very soon.

The following must be accomplished in order to proceed:

Thirty acres of wooded land must be cleared and fenced.
One barn must be renovated to become usable.
Two barns must be constructed to house equipment and livestock.

In order to achieve these goals, we are seeking funding in the following amounts:

$45,000 – 30 acres – cost to clear and fence one acre is $1500
$30,000 – cost to build two barns
$10,000 – cost to renovate the current barn

We are seeking sponsors for each of these projects along with long-term relationships and support.
A donation of any amount is also welcomed!

What will you receive?

In return for sponsoring a project you will benefit from one or all of the following, commensurate with the donation:

All donations receive “Friend of the Farm” status – your company name and log posted on our website donor wall
Signage with company name posted along the fence line
Permanent name dedication placed above the barn doors
12-month advertising as a “Sponsor of VHF” at any event/fundraiser held within that year
We welcome your suggestions or ideas about further benefits for your company
